Ryan Smith

Since beginning his dance training at the age 12 in Florida, Ryan has had a full career in the performing arts. After attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and training under the tutelage of Gus Giodano, Frank Hatchett, Michelle Assef, and Sheila Barker at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. Ryan toured with productions of Chicago, Anything Goes, Hairspray, and Cirque Du Monde. His regional theater accomplishments include Crazy For You, Grease, Guys and Dolls, A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun, 42nd Street, and Footloose. Ryan also performed internationally with Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruises as well as in Florida with Walt Disney World, Seaworld, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Ryan is thrilled to have joined the New Tampa Dance Theatre faculty in 2020 and enjoys inspiring our next generation of performers.
