Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Occupational Therapists seeking contract roles in vibrant educational environments near Minneapolis, MN. We are searching for dedicated professionals to join schools as either full-time therapists or long-term substitutes for the upcoming academic year.

These positions offer the chance to work collaboratively with a devoted team, providing essential support and interventions for students across several education centers. Whether looking for a full-year commitment or an impactful substitute position early in the school year, your expertise will help empower students in their learning journeys.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) for Minnesota
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process, student documentation, and collaborative work with school staff
• Strong communication skills and an adaptive, creative approach to student needs
• Commitment to supporting students with various educational and developmental needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of 20-40 students in a special education setting (“setting 4”)
• Complete assessments, develop individualized plans, and maintain accurate documentation aligned with school requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to progress monitoring, and recommend adaptive strategies
• Work consistently onsite at a designated education center

Multiple roles available: four positions are full-time for the entire school year, while two are long-term sub assignments during the first couple of months (exact dates to be determined).

Hours are 37.5 per week, with employment spanning September 8, 2026 through June 10, 2027. Each assignment is based in a single building, fostering strong relationships within the school community.
