This year s the 40th anniversary of the founding of The Human Potential Center! We are planning to hold a block party / fair at our campus in south-central Austin this year on November 1st, and we need help in planning the event and implementing the plan. We want the event to be a fund-raiser and to be fun, creative and easy to implement.
The Human Potential Center is a Fitness Center for the Mind and Heart, whose mission is to create an emotionally-healthy community that sparks the Creativity, Love and Playfulness of the Human Spirit.
By helping to plan this event, you'll be supporting our wellness-oriented programs and classes as well as our work providing mobility products for disabled persons through GoodwheelChairs.org. You'll also obtain some great experience working in a nonprofit that you can use on future resumes.
We already have a team that has begun the initial stages of planning for the event. We hope you join our small group of cheerful co-workers!
