ABOUT US

New Tampa Dance Theatre provides dance training for all ages, pre-school through adult, in a uniquely artistic and creative atmosphere.  As a school with both professional-track and recreational programs, NTDT welcomes those who dance purely for enjoyment as well as students dedicated to pursuing dance as a career.

With New Tampa Dance Theatre having an outstanding faculty dedicated to the proper education of dance, students are well-rounded individuals who achieve not only technical excellence but also gain invaluable self-esteem and confidence.

A particularly unique feature of the school is the leveled curriculum being equally proficient in multiple artforms.  Along with ballet, NTDT offers creative movement, modern, jazz, tap and hip-hop training to those wishing to explore and discover their individual passions.

New Tampa Dance Theatre measures the success of its school by the success and experiences of its students and graduates.  NTDT students are regularly accepted into prestigious summer intensives including those of School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, The Kirov Ballet, The Harid Consevatory, Boston Ballet, Nutmeg Conservatory, Chautauqua Institution, The Ailey School, Perry-Mansfield, The Yard, and Tap City.  Alumni of NTDT have received full or partial college scholarships with Tisch School of the Arts, Butler University, The Ohio State University, Florida State University, and Point Park University.
