Originally from Tampa, Florida, Justin began his dance training at the New Tampa Dance Theatre. He continued his education at Florida State University to pursue a B.F.A. in Dance. He was an active member in the Dance Repertory Theater at F.S.U. under the direction of Lynda Davis, performing works by Dr. Nancy Smith Fichter, Terry Creach and Bruce Wood. Justin has also performed works by Dan Wagoner, Rick McCullough, George Balanchine, Alex Ketley, Tim Glenn, Wallie Wolfgruber and Takehiro Ueyama, as well as many roles with the Tallahassee Ballet. Mr. Kahan was a member of Taylor 2 from 2006-2012 where he performed and taught both nationally and internationally.  During the summer of 2010 he had the honor of teaching dance in India as a cultural envoy for the US Government. Justin is a National Account Manager at Mediagistic, as well as the Modern Director and partnering coach at New Tampa Dance Theatre.  Since returning to Tampa he has continued to perform as a guest artist with Dance Theatre of Tampa in their annual production of The Nutcracker and Summer DTT Concert Series as well as showcasing choreography since 2015.
